The DELTA consists of components of listening, reading, grammar and vocabulary. It is available to students at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as well as other universities in Hong Kong and overseas.

Features of the DELTA are:

Carefully developed and trialed tests of English listening, reading, grammar and vocabulary relevant to English learners at university level
Test questions calibrated statistically so that they are reliable and each have a set difficulty level
Tests carried out online in a language laboratory under test conditions
Test scores calculated automatically and results available within a few days
