The
DELTA Report Every time you take the DELTA you will receive a DELTA
Report on your performance. The Report can be read online through the
DELTA System or downloaded for saving and printing. The DELTA Report contains the
following:
- A DELTA Measure - this is a scaled proficiency level. The higher
your DELTA Measure is, the stronger your ability is in handling more challenging
language items.
- A Component Skills Profile - this shows the language skills that
you are comparatively stronger or weaker in, i.e. listening, reading, grammar or
vocabulary. You can then understand which language skill(s) you may need to spend
more time to improve.
- A Component Diagnostic Report - this shows the subskills of language
that you were tested on and whether or not these subskills caused you problems.
It is a good idea to seek the advice of your English teacher on how to make the
most of your report. If you are not currently taking an English subject, then you
can seek the advice of a teacher in the Centre for Independent Language Learning.
