DELTA students test regulations
Before the Commencement of the Test
  1. Test takers should bring to the test venue their Hong Kong identity card, PolyU student identity card and enrolment record.
  2. Test takers are required to arrive at the test venue 15 minutes before the test begins.
  3. Test takers should queue up outside the test venue quietly before the commencement of the test. They should not enter the test venue until instructed by the invigilator.
  4. Test takers should take up their seat as assigned.
  5. Test takers must place their Hong Kong identity card, PolyU student identity card and enrolment record on their desk for verification of identity by the invigilators during the test.
  6. No books, scrap papers and other written materials, etc. shall be brought into the test venue.
  7. Test takers should put all their personal belongings in their bag, and place it under their chair or instructed by the invigilators.
  8. All mobile phones or other devices that can emit sound must be switched off and put away.
  9. Test takers should not start the test until instructed to do so by the invigilator.
During the Test
  1. Test takers should not communicate or attempt to communicate improperly with other test takers, and should not copy from work of another test taker during the test.
  2. No food or drink is allowed in the test venue.
At the End of the Test
  1. Test takers should remain seated quietly at the end of the test until they are told to leave the test venue by the invigilator.
  2. No test materials or notes are to be taken out of the test venue.
  3. A test taker who violates any of the above regulations may be disqualified from taking or continuing to sit for the test, or from receiving the test result.

Tropical Cyclone Warning

Signal No. 1 or 3

Tests will be held as scheduled.

Signal No. 8 or above

If it is hoisted or announcement is made by the Hong Kong Observatory that Signal No. 8 or above is likely to be hoisted within the next two hours during the following period:

Before the scheduled tests

Tests will be postponed. Details of the make-up test will be announced in this website.

During the test

Tests will continue.

If Signal No. 8 is lowered

Before 7:00 am

Tests will be held as scheduled.

Between 7:00 am and 12:00 noon

Tests scheduled before 1:00 pm will be postponed. Details of the make-up test will be announced in this website.
Tests commence at or after 2:00 pm will be held as scheduled.

After 12:00 noon

All tests scheduled on that day will be postponed. Details of the make-up test will be announced in this website.

Black Warning

Warning issued

Between 7:00 am and 12:00 noon

During the test
